Heidi Klum was conceived in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, on the 1st of June 1973. Erna Klum was Heidi's maternal grandmother, was a professional hairdresser. Gunther was the father of Gunther as well as a top executive in a cosmetics manufacturer. Heidi's Dad was earlier a production supervisor for the 4711 company. The city of her birth is Bergisch Gladbach (a city of around 100,000 inhabitants six miles west of Cologne), Heidi was raised there. The German-American former fashion model has become a TV host and producer, fashion designer, business woman and actress, who lives and works in the southern part of California and Germany.
